Registration kickoff! - 12/8/07
We hosted several families between 10 am and noon today! Every family that came wanted to register immediately. We are working on several ideas to spread the word a little farther, including a permenant sign! We know that if we get people in, the facility will sell itself! Let us know what you could do to help spread the word!
4K Room Under Way - 11/5/2007
The buzzing of saws and banging of hammers continues as our faithful volunteers continue to press toward completion of our classroom upgrades. The storage facility has been emptied and cleaned. The double door is now a single door and a new observation window into the gym is being cut, even as I type! How exciting! The donations are beginning to filter in from our pick-a-pocket campaign and we are beginning to "gear up" for our programs! Our God is amazing!
Construction Progressing Smoothly - 9/26/07
Thanks to the effort of some dedicated members, our 2K and 3K classrooms are nearly completed. The former youth office was converted into a daycare office and was outfitted with a "fully loaded" desktop computer, donated by a church member.
Keen-eyed church members, especially those in the Children's Department, may have noticed a significant outdoor development. We now have a fenced play yard, discreetly tucked behind the privacy shrubs on the east side of the building.
Our warmest appreciation to all the volunteers who have made these accomplishments possible. Just ahead, keep your eyes peeled for the gym storage conversion and kitchen upgrades.
